Our grading suite features a number of amenities normally not available in grading suites. Comfort and quality and the ultimate grading method under one roof. From the minute you enter the color suite subdued lighting to the plush leather sofa, you can relax and watch your project come to life. Hook up to our client computer, navigate our extensive sound library or enjoy a selection of beverages and foods.

Amenities featured include a 30bit calibrated monitor tied to Apple color, and our small (9F diagonal) projection screen suitable for projecting both high definition and digital cinema formats. This was designed for DI clients who sometimes choose to simplify previews on the midsize screen (5F x 8F) from the 2K projector without leaving the room. The final tests are typically viewed on the on the big screen.

Our color suite is simultaneously tied to our full size theatre, where we can project your film at any moment on to our 19 foot 1.85.1 screen. Feast your eyes and ears with the emotional experience of 18 thousand watts of THX-compliant sound and a 2K LiCos projected image.

Eye Candy Studios sets a new standard for color grade technology. Eye Candy Inc. is proud to offer the SW the ability to tie directly to a full size movie theatre to test the quality of the image. This is a critical step often not considered until is too late, (watching your film on the big screen at a festival). If you have produced a film before, you can appreciate this benefit, if you have not, consider that an error is amplified 10 fold on the big screen. Our theatre’s LiCos system projector is set and calibrated by true white reference from the Xenon bulb. What you see in our theatre is color correct, dual stream 4:4:4 and the final size right out of the edit system!
